You blog as well as your site turns out to be very informative and helpful. We are facing a challenge in an application that is using MSEE 2005 as the DB. The tool basically loads huge volume of data and enable the user to generate custom reports. Sometimes, the data is more than 4GB, which is the permissable limit of MSEE 2005. Is there a way oround for still accomodating more than 4GB - like, backing up data and then purging it and loading the next set of data - any innovative solution that you would suggest would be really helpful. Are is there an OpenSource DB, that permits more than 4GB with the same level of performance as MSEE 2005.
